Step 1

Make a pearl bead drop charm for each earring. Slide a bead onto an eye pin from your earring kit. Bend the wire of the eye pin in a 90° angle just above the bead. Grasp the eye pin wire, about 3/8"-½" [0.3 cm-1.3 cm] from the bend, between the jaws of your round nose pliers. Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire, until a small loop is formed. Trim excess wire.

Step 2

Carefully open the loop at the bottom of a fishhook earring and attach a pearl drop charm. Repeat for a second earring.

Step 3

Add charms! Remove the jump rings from the charms and use new jump rings from your earring kit to attach to the loop at the bottom of your pearl bead drop.
TIP: To open and close a jump ring, simply grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers and twist the ring open, from side-to-side. Never pull the jump ring which can cause distortion.
