Learn how to craft beautiful polymer clay jewelry the easy way! This new, revolutionary product has the designs already in the clay! Simply cut, bake and assemble!
| Step 1 |
Ensure your work area is clean, dry and free of dust. |
| Step 2 |
To create a bead, take a small portion of the slab and shape it into a 10mm circle using a blade. Remove the excess clay and roughly shape it into a ball with your fingers. |
| Step 3 |
Place the clay ball into the corresponding 10mm track of the bead maker, ensuring the tracks line up. Close the bead maker and gently move the top and bottom parts in opposite directions 4-5 times. |
| Step 4 |
Poke a hole through the bead while it's still in the bead maker. |
| Step 5 |
Repeat Steps 2-4 to create a total of three beads. |
| Step 6 |
Preheat the oven to 250°F [120°C]. Place the clay pieces carefully on an oven-safe baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then place them into the oven for 15-20 minutes. |
| Step 7 |
Once baked, remove the clay slab pieces from the oven and allow them to cool completely before handling. |
| Step 8 |
Slide an eye pin through each clay bead, then bend the eye pin to a 90° angle and cut it, leaving a ¼" [0.635 cm] tail. Create a simple loop using round pliers. |
| Step 9 |
Cut 6 pieces of chain, each measuring 1¼" [3.175 cm] in length. |
| Step 10 |
Attach each clay bead by opening and closing the loop in the opposite direction, using flat pliers. |
| Step 11 |
Attach the split ring, to one end bead connector, using a 9mm jump ring. |
| Step 12 |
Attach the six small chain pieces to the last bead connector using a 9mm jump ring, again using flat pliers to open and close the jump ring. |
